Silica Air Dryers are applicable for use with Ozone Generators. The Ozone Air Dryer is not made to withstand high pressure. Ideally, the Ozone Air Dryer is operated under a vacuum with the open end to the atmospheric pressure of 1 to 2 PSI.
Water Purification Systems that make use of an Ozone Generator it is important to protect it. Condensation and water will damage an Ozone Unit. A Silica Ozone Air Dryer is fitted to an Ozone Water Disinfection System, the air dryer removes moisture and helps protect your Ozone generator from humidity, mildew and corrosion.
Occasionally, the Silica Ozone Air Dryer does get saturated with moisture, changing the colour of the media. To resolve this, place the beads in the oven at 40’C until they return to their original colour.
